The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Disclosed

According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of prohibited rituals and terrifying changes reverberate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.

The adventure focuses on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material

Players who finish the mission will receive an exclusive katana together with several artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
